hi guys, unagi here...sorry to tell y'all that we got more homeworks from our dearly beloved mr super EVIL niaow man..btw bio remedial was interesting...i actually get what ms ng was teaching..( though i was late)..cool..!! thx ms ng..hey...good news is...about 3/4 of the class going for BBQ!! yeah!!!...

About the HeyMath! Benchmarks Programme

The HeyMath! Benchmarks programme attempts to make the Holiday Homework in Maths interesting and benchmark your performance. The specific objectives of the programme are as follows:

1. Help students revise concepts learnt in the previous years

2. Encourage students to learn independently using animated and interactive lessons

3. Provide continuous practice through online assignments issued every week during the holiday period

4. Benchmark students’ performance relative to their peers from other schools that are participating. HeyMath! will send a report to the participating schools at the end of the holiday period

What should you tell your students?

(i) Students can log in to http://www.heymath.com/ using their Id and password. Their default id and password will be their IC number. If they have forgotten their password, they can contact their teacher to reset their password. All teachers can reset their student’s passwords under Check Messages >> Password
(ii) Upon logging in students should click on

(iii) A list of tests will be displayed to them. They can click on a test, read the instructions and submit the test anytime before the due date.

About the online tests

(i) The tests will be issued to students in a phased manner as per the Benchmark Schedule (roughly one a week starting 26th May 08). They should log in every week to check for new tests.
(ii) All students in a sec level will be able to see the tests for their sec level as well as the tests issued to lower sec levels. For instance, a Sec 3 student will view the tests for Sec 3 EM and AM, Sec 2 Maths and Sec 1 Maths. Please instruct your students accordingly.
(iii) Each test will include instructions that will include the topics, marks, duration and due date
(iv) Students can save/submit the test any number of times before the due date and within the duration (time) given for that test.
(v) Students should submit fully worked out answers on hard copy to their teachers when school reopens. This may be required for any future reference.
(vi) Students also have access to lessons for independent study or revision before taking the tests
(vii) Students will see their score upon submission. Requests for resetting scores and tests will not be accepted
(viii) Fully worked out answers will be provided for students after the due date
(ix) Feedback to students on correct and wrong answers will be available after due date
